​At Banbury TKD, we believe that learning to teach is an important part of developing as a martial artist. As students gain experience, confidence and technical knowledge, they may have the opportunity to begin helping others and to work towards formal teaching qualifications.

Our teaching team includes Qualified Instructors, Assistant Instructors and Classroom Assistants, together with trainees working towards their own qualifications. Training is structured and practical, covering not only Taekwondo technique but also how to explain, demonstrate and correct skills, work safely with different ages and abilities, and help students get the most from their classes.

This gives our students access to a wider teaching team while also providing a clear pathway for those who would like to develop their confidence, leadership and teaching skills within the club.
