The Full Story

Many of you will have met Matty Moore at competitions, but how much do you know about him?
Matty was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (Autistic) as a toddler. He commonly struggled with communication and comprehension in public. However, he has not let this hold him back.
His catchphrase is "Ability not Disability!"
Questions

We wanted to find out a bit more about him before he came to visit. So we asked him some important questions:
Q: How old were you when you started training in Taekwondo?
A: I was 14.
Q: Which club do you train at?
A: Whitley Bay TKD (Tyne & Wear).
Q: What made you start training in Taekwondo?
A: My cousin encouraged me to give TKD a try despite I had no interest in sport, then I went from 0% to 100% confident as soon as my instructor gave me a warm welcome to the world of TAGB on my first lesson!
Q: What do you like about Taekwondo?
A: Why I love TKD is seeing my good friends across competitions and especially training away at their dojangs, as its an important part of my life.
Q: How many competitions do you think you've ever competed in?
A: About 60.
Q: Matty, how many Christmas cards to send out every year? (He always has a huge sack of cards at the British Championships.)
A: I think I sent a minimum of 100 Christmas cards a year!
